Dual Credit

Dual Credit is a program for high school Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors to take college courses while in high school and receive credits for both high school graduation and a college degree. Dual Credit students could earn more than 40 hours of college credit by the time they graduate from high school.

Academic Partnerships serves Odessa College and its vast service area in three important ways: Dual Credit, extension areas, and recruitment. The staff visits campuses and communities throughout Odessa College’s vast service area. In addition, the extensions areas staff is housed in three centers located in Andrews, Monahans, and Pecos. For recruitment purposes, please contact Academic Partnerships by e-mailing recruitment@freoreport.net. For Dual Credit, please send all inquiries to dualcredit@freoreport.net

Steps to Apply

  1. Meet with your high school counselor
  2. Complete Odessa College Application

  3. Pass TSIA 2.0 - Please visit the Testing Center page for more information on testing and exemptions.
  4. Register for class(es) with your high school counselor
  5. Pay online or over the phone - For questions about costs and payment plan set up, please refer to the Payment
